According to the police in Malawi, Wyson has been arrested and now faces serious charges. Sergeant Sichali, who is investigating the case, said that the sex worker and her customer got into a dispute over payment after engaging in sexual activity. "Whilst there, wrangles erupted soon after the act and in the process the suspect took a sharp knife and grievously wounded the customer's manhood," he explained.

The man was immediately rushed to Cape Maclear health center for medical attention. Due to the severity of the injury, he was later referred to Monkey Bay community hospital for further treatment and examination.
